About the Arrifana Beach
The Arrifana beach is a small fishing village, located in Aljezur, in the westcoast of the Algarve,
inside of a natural park (Costa Vicentina), in Portugal. Arrifana is one of the most beautiful beaches in Portugal.
It is a perfect place for enjoying a relaxed time dipping in the sea and sunbathing,
or go for a walk exploring the more than half a kilometer of sandy shoreline.
On the left side, inside the water you can see the famous rock known as Pedra da Agulha (Nidle Rock).
Arrifana is a bay (crescent-shaped beach), facing the south and surrounded by cliffs,
it is a good escape from the north windy days. There you find a variety of good restaurants and cafes,
perfect to enjoy good food after an exciting day of activities at the beach.
Arrifana is very popular in the Portuguese surfing community. It is one of the most consistent waves of the Algarve.
